During a walk along Armstrong Woods road, on a beautiful sunny morning, Esa and Jen came up with a plan for a new business opportunity, a partnership, a bookkeeping firm with a small office here in downtown Guerneville. They would start their own business together, where they could both use they're professional bookkeeping skills and experience to support small businesses in their own community and all of Sonoma County, while also working with remote clients.
Being both long time, local, Guerneville residents, Esa and Jen began working together fifteen years ago, respectively as president and treasurer of the local PTO. Together they volunteered and helped the 501c3 nonprofit grow and increase the money raised to help enrich the education for K-8th grade students in their community, while providing accurate and transparent financial information to their fellow board members. They are both honest and dependable professionals who work hard to ensure the best service possible. Together, Esa and Jen have decades of experience and expertise in managing all aspects of full charge bookkeeping for a variety of businesses and organizations.
Esa Day
Esa has over 25 years bookkeeping experience working with a variety of businesses, in various industries. She began her career in Property/Vacation Rental Management and for the past several years has been working for local CPAs handling all aspects of bookkeeping, payroll, financial statements, and tax preparation. She is an alumnus of San Francisco State University with a degree is Business Finance and a minor in Recreational Resort Management. Her specialty is Real Estate Development, Property Management, and Hospitality. She loves spending time with her family outdoors and volunteering in her community.
Jen Cassady
With more than 20 years of bookkeeping experience, Jen brings a detail-oriented approach to helping small businesses stay organized and financially on track. Her background includes bookkeeping and administrative management for an interior design firm, followed by the launch of RRVB in 2021.Today, Jen provides bookkeeping and payroll services for local businesses, helping owners manage their financial needs with accuracy and confidence. She especially enjoys creating order out of the details, solving problems, and making the financial side of running a business feel a little easier. Jen earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Sonoma State University. She values the relationships she has built with her clients and feels fortunate to support local business and her community. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
